My Grandpa I can call on any given day;
dialing the same number I’ve dialed since I was seven (and allowed to for the very first time.)
Hearing his voice, laughing at his jokes.
A tender reminder since Grandma passed away that life is precious.
Grandbabies that continue to grow and change.
They light up my world and fill me with absolute joy!
Strong Women in our extended family, who know the importance of heritage and honoring those we come from.
Watching Our Parents interact with our own sweet grandchildren…
Beautiful Friends and kindred spirits who inspire me.
My Children, growing up into amazing individuals.
(My oldest and youngest, having fun!) 🙂
And This Guy, my best friend and adventure partner!
“As the years pass, I am coming more and more to understand that it is the common,
everyday blessings of our common everyday lives for which we should be particularly grateful.
They are the things that fill our lives with comfort and our hearts with gladness —
just the pure air to breathe and the strength to breath it;
just warmth and shelter and home folks;
just plain food that gives us strength;
the bright sunshine on a cold day;
and a cool breeze when the day is warm.”
